Wenyan settling in to the Texas lifestyle*
We had a great time at the 2016 Barshop Symposium on Aging "Promoting Healthy Aging: Intervening by Diet, Drugs, or Exercise" at the Mayan Dude Ranch in Bandera Texas. Great posters by Wenyan and Adrian! *We don't actually ever ride horses here.

Dr. Frost Awarded AFAR New Investigator Award in Alzheimer's Disease
The project, entitled "Investigating a Toxic Role of Nucleoplasmic Reticulum Expansion in Alzheimer's Disease and Related Tauopathies" will focus on alterations in nucleocytoplasmic transport and nuclear calcium signaling that result from nuclear envelope invagination in tauopathies. We are currently recruiting a postdoctoral fellow for this project. Please contact Dr. Frost if you are interested.


Adrian Beckmann awarded Biology of Aging Training Grant

Dr. Frost Awarded Nathan Shock Center Pilot Award
The Frost laboratory will use the Nathan Shock Pilot Grant to investigate maintenance of terminal neuronal differentiation in tauopathies.
